Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation

The Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation is proud to have the first on-reserve adult personal care home in Saskatchewan. The 40 unit Lakeview Lodge offers care services for Elders and adults with reduced mobility stemming from physical or other challenges including diabetes. In less than a year, the venture into adult care in the community went from sod turning in 1998 to grand opening of the structure without using outside capital funds. Stand Buffalo Dakota Nation determined health matters at the Lakeview Lodge are a priority for the gaming profits the First Nations Trust distributes.
